Privacy Policy – Subscription to the VidaCaixa Newsletter

   VidaCaixa, S.A.U. de Seguros y Reaseguros, with Tax ID No. A-58333261 and registered office at Paseo de la Castellana 189, 1st and 2nd floors, 28046 Madrid (Spain), is the controller of the personal data you provide when subscribing to our newsletter. 2. Purposes of processing
    
   • To manage your subscription to the newsletter and send you informational communications on savings, retirement planning and protection.
   • To tailor the content of the newsletter to your interests through basic segmentation (for example, assigning thematic tags such as “retirement”) in order to improve the relevance of the requested service.
      No automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects will be carried out.


3. Legal bases for processing
    
   • Performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): Processing is necessary to provide you with the requested service (subscription and delivery of the newsletter, including basic segmentation).
   • Consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR): For any additional purpose other than sending the newsletter (for example, marketing communications outside the service), we will request your specific and separate consent.


4. Data processed
   
   Email address and, where applicable, thematic tags derived from your interaction with the newsletter.


5. Recipients and international transfers
   
   No data will be disclosed to third parties.
   
   An international transfer will be made to Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA), the provider managing the delivery of newsletters, covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR). 6. Retention period
   
   We will retain your data for as long as you maintain your subscription, unless we have another lawful basis for processing it. If you request to unsubscribe, we will block your data for the period necessary to address any potential legal liabilities. 


7. Data subject rights
   
   You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected], stating the reference “Data Protection Right VIDACAIXA NEWSLETTER”. Given the specific nature of this information, if you submit a general data protection rights request to VidaCaixa, this information will not be included.
   
   You may unsubscribe at any time via the link included in each communication.
   
   You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
