Our accessibility declaration for this website:

VidaCaixa wants its website to be accessible to everyone.

Accessible content:

We work to meet the web content accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.2, level AA) established by
the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).

Our website compliance with WCAG 2.2 is as follows:

  • Fully compliant with the requirement to avoid content that may cause epileptic seizures.
  • Fully compliant with the requirement to offer users alternative methods of data entry other than the keyboard.
  • Fully compliant with the requirement that content must be readable and understandable.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement to provide alternative ways of accessing audio and video content, both pre-recorded and live. For example:
    • An audio track that describes and conveys the visual information in a video, such as text or graphics.
    • Closed captions.
    • Transcripts.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement to ensure that content can be accessed using assistive technologies, such as screen readers, while maintaining the same structure and information.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement that content should be distinguishable, with sufficient contrast between elements, not relying solely on colour to convey information, and allowing text size or screen zoom to be increased without losing information.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement to allow full access and interaction with all content using only the keyboard.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement to enable users to adjust or disable time limits when accessing content. For example, when viewing a card PIN, an image carousel, or story-style content.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement to support users in navigating and interacting with content using assistive technology or via the keyboard. For example, with a structure that works well with screen readers, or with descriptive headings and links.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement for content to be predictable. For example, users should know when page content will change due to an interaction, or be able to rely on navigation elements always appearing in the same order.
  • Partially compliant with the requirement for content to provide clear instructions to avoid and correct errors.

Non-accessible content:

We are working with Ilunion Accesibilidad S.A. to progressively improve the accessibility of this
website. The current areas for improvement are as follows:

  • Not compliant with the requirement to provide a text alternative for all content in other formats, such as images, video or audio. This is not required for purely decorative content.
  • Not compliant with the requirement for content to be compatible with assistive technologies and keyboard navigation.
