Analysts and regulators
We stick to the highest standards as part of our commitment to excellence in our activity. Because of this, we were the first insurer and pension manager in Spain to become signatories of the UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) and the Net Zero Asset Owner Alliance to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. We are members of the main international sustainability alliances (such as PSI or Global Compact), which promote responsible socioeconomic growth. We work with insurance employers and collective investment institutions to defend the best practices and promote ethics and transparency as the basis of a good governance model.
Shareholder
VidaCaixa is fully owned by CaixaBank and the relationships with our shareholder are a cornerstone in the development of our activity. We contribute to its mission and vision, which are aligned with the corporate values of quality, trust and social commitment, in order to add value to the entire Group and, consequently, the expectations of our shareholders and investors.

The principles for our actions include observing the laws and regulations in force at any given time, respect, integrity, transparency, excellence, professionalism, confidentiality and social responsibility.
The policy for agreements and partnerships constitutes another step in our strategy to position corporate responsibility at the heart of all our actions and activities..
At present, VidaCaixa is a signatory of the Principles of Responsible Investment (PRI), forms part of the business alliance for child vaccination - GAVI Alliance, and has the Family Responsible Company (FRC) certification. It is also committed to the United Nations Global Compact , the Principles for Sustainable Insurance that are also promoted by the UN and Zero Asset Owner Alliance.
Retorn came to life in 2006 under the initiative of a group of employee volunteers and it promotes and manages projects related to social responsibility and sustainability focusing on three central points: society, environment and employees. The voluntary nature of the initiative offers volunteers the chance to choose and manage the activities directly.
The purposes of Retorn are the generation of social initiatives and programmes, proposed by the employees, the promotion of socially responsible values among the employees and the possibility of the employees directly managing the company's social initiatives through a budget specially allocated for this purpose.
